From February 20 to 21, SunExpress, the successful joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, celebrated its 35th anniversary with a conference in Antalya. Under the motto "35 Years to the Sun and Beyond," partners and industry experts gathered to honor the impressive development of the airline and to look ahead to the future.

During the event, CEO Max Kownatzki emphasized the airline's ambitious expansion plans. By 2035, the fleet is set to grow from the current 85 to 166 aircraft. The order of 132 Boeing 737 MAX 8s was particularly highlighted. The 35th anniversary celebrations underscored SunExpress's strong position as Europe's leading holiday airline.
