Directions overview

At the visitor reception you will receive a free parking ticket for the visitors' parking lot for the first day. If you are planning to stay over one day, please use public transport or the hotel shuttle bus service, because parking space is limited and subject to charge.

By train 

Directions overview

Take the long-distance train to Hamburg main station. You can obtain timetable information and tickets from Deutsche Bahn and the Hamburg Transport Association (see link www.hvv.de). To continue your journey, take the suburban railway line S1, direction Hamburg airport (from the main station, the journey takes approx. 25 minutes).

After arriving at the airport, take the following buses to the Lufthansa base:

• 292 (Direction underground station Lattenkamp)
• 392 (Direction ferry Teufelsbrueck)

Leave the bus at the bus stop "Lufthansa Basis/Haupteingang" (Lufthansa Base/Main Entrance). Here you will find the visitor reception.

By plane

Directions overview

After you have exited the terminal, take the following buses to the Lufthansa base:

• 292 (Direction underground station Lattenkamp)
• 392 (Direction ferry Teufelsbrueck)

Leave the bus at the bus stop "Lufthansa Basis/Haupteingang" (Lufthansa Base/Main Entrance). Here you will find the visitor reception.

Hot and cold beverage vending machines and snack vending machines are available for trainees in the hallway on the 2nd floor. A kettle and microwave are available on the 3rd floor. In addition, trainees can visit our employee restaurants. It is important to note that only cashless payments can be made. A valid EC or credit card is required. 

• Please note that external trainees must present an officially valid identification document at the visitor reception desk. In principle, every trainee should be able to identify himself/herself.
• You are from a non-EU country? Then inform yourself at the Foreign Office about the currently valid regulations for entering the country and taking up employment.
