(1-c) Purpose of the Processing
Subject of the business of Lufthansa Technical Training is to conduct training in the aviation sector worldwide. Being the first company ever that has been certified according to EASA Part-147, we fulfill all requirements by the European Aviation Safety Agency and numerous national aviation authorities in the field of aviation training and are therefore fully authorized to issue certificates on the successful participation of approved trainings, which are key for aircraft mechanics and technicians to acquire specific qualifications to perform tasks in aircraft maintenance and overhaul.
We would like to invite you to register for a newsletter.
We process your data in connection with the newsletter in order to send you news on interesting topics from the world of Lufthansa Technical Training. We also process and use registration and usage data to send you our newsletter with personalized and tailored content.
For this purpose we ask for some of your personal data in our newsletter order form on condition that you agree on providing these data.
The following data is also collected during registration:
- The date and time of registration
The following data on usage behavior is collected:
- Opening patterns
- Clicking patterns
- Log-offs
If a link from the newsletter takes you to our website, you also give us your permission to process and use your IP address as well as geodata, web beacons or similar technologies, in order to check whether the offers made to you met your requirements.

The processing is in accordance with the legitimate interests of Lufthansa Technical Training to initiate and cultivate business contacts (Art. 6 para 1 lit. f)

Your request for the newsletter is obtained and processed by our colleagues of the Marketing Team of Lufthansa Technical Training.

Should you wish to unsubscribe our newsletter your record will be erased immediately. In case you have enrolled or will have enrolled in one of our courses we are liable to store all participants data for an infinite period of time as required by EASA Part-147 A.125.

You have the right to be informed about the processing of your data. (Art. 15)
You have the right on rectification of your personal data. (Art. 16)
You have the right on portability of your personal data in a computer readable format. (Art. 20)
You have the right to demand deletion of your personal data as long as you have not enrolled in one of our classes since on that condition we are obliged to store all participants data for an infinitive period of time in compliance with EASA 147.A.125. (Art. 17)
You have the right to demand the limitation of the processing. (Art. 18)
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. (Art. 21)
(2-c)
You have the right to withdraw your consent of having your data processed in regard to your newsletter subscription at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" button in the newsletter or via email to marketing@ltt.dlh.de. However, this would result in the termination of your subscription.
Should you have previously enrolled in one of our training courses or will have enrolled in one such, are we in compliance with EASA 147.A.125 bound to store your data for an infinitive period of time.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. (Art. 77)
(2-e)
We are required to inform you that you are not legally bound to provide us your personal data. However, devoid your data we are incapable of providing you with our newsletter.
